To the Hon the Council and House of Representatives of the Territory of Wisconsin. You petitioners citizens of the Territory of Wisconsin feeling themselves much approved by the present system of county government; do most respectfully and correctly pray, that the county commissioner system be abolished, and a law be enacted giving to each town the privilege of transacting their own business, by adopting the present system now in operation in the state of New York; and your petitioners will ever pray &c
