To the Honorable the Council and House of Representatives of Wisconsin Territory we the inhabitants of Green and Dane Counties do respectfully represent that in our opinion new viewers should be appointed to view and lay out the southern portion of the Territorial Road running from Exeter to Fort Winnebago that portion between Exeter and Badger Mills believing that better ground can be obtained without increasing the distances.
