Dear Mrs. Phillips,

I am writing in behalf of the Manitowoc-Two
Rivers branch of the American Association of
University Women.

At one of our recent meetings a guest speaker
mentioned your name and spoke very highly of you.
We would very much like to meet you and we are
wondering if your busy schedule would permit you
to be guest speaker at our annual banquet to be
held on the evening of May 15, 1967.

In addition to a specific topic of your choice,
we would like to hear something about your
experiences as a woman running for and being
elected to a public office.

We will appreciate hearing from you at your
earliest convenience informing us of your
availability and of your fee. We would arrange
accomodations either at the home of one of the
members or at the Manitowoc Hotel...as you would
desire.
