4. "The Bear" near Honey Creek in Sauk County, surveyed in 1850 by I.A. Lapham, length 114 feet, height 46 feet, Ant. of Wisconsin page 69, plate 44, fig. 1 and plate 45 fig. 4.

5. "The Buffalo" also on Honey Creek Sauk County, surveyed in 1850 by I.A. Lapham, length 110 feet, height 42 feet, Ant. of Wisconsin page 69 plate 44 fig. 1 and plate 45 fig. 1.

6. "The Mink". This graceful image is on the land of J. Regula, four miles from Oconomowoc (Section 14 town 7 Range 17) in Waukesha county, surveyed August 30th, 1875, by I.A. Lapham, length of head and neck 36 feet, body 59 feet, tail 88 feet, total 183 feet. Indicated on plate 30 Ant. of Wisconsin.

7. "The Otter" on block 36 of Sherman's Addition in the city of Milwaukee, surveyed in 1849 by I.A. Lapham. Length of head and neck 26 feet, body 50 feet, tail 70 feet, total 146 feet. Ant. of Wis. page 17, plate 7, figure 2.

8. "The Broad Tailed Animal" near Mayville in Dodge County surveyed in 1851 by I.A. Lapham, length of body 28 feet, of tail 45 feet. Ant. of Wis. page 58, plate 39.

9. "The Squirrel", with its long tail near the Wisconsin river in Sauk county (S.W. 1/4 of Sec. 4, T.10 R.7); surveyed in 1852 by Wm.H. Canfield, length of body 64 feet; of tail 133 feet; figured on plate 155 Ant. of Wis.

10. "The Horse," (so called) On section 14, town 7, range 17, Waukesha county; surveyed Aug. 30, 1835 by I.A. Lapham; length of head and neck 37 feet; body 38 feet, *tail 75 feet*, total 150 feet. Though called a horse it appears to have little resemblance to that animal which must have been unknown to the mound-builders.
