Shell subtriangular, sounded be-low, angular above, inflated, equi -lateral. longitudinally and closely ribbed; substance of the shell thick; [lunule] large, cordate, slightly impressed; [beaks] elevated, large ribs about twenty. transversely and thickly crenulate; teeth oblique; cicatrices slightly impressed; cavity of the shell rather deep; margin largely crenulate.
