My business and personal
relations with Hon. Byron Kilbourn
(dating as far back as 1827) who died
at Jacksonville Fla. on the 16th,
are such that it becomes necessary
for me to go to that place without
delay. The administration of his
estate, which is quite large, both
in Wisconsin and in Florida falls
upon me ^by his will and I am advised that
his affairs at Jacksonville require
immediate attention.
