My dear Sir

I was
unable to secure any rain records
for you and so have delayed
writing in order to be able to report
to you in regard to rocks exam-
ined druing my survey of the
Portage & Baraboo [V. R.R.?].

First in regard to rain, Mr
Waite has kept a record for some
years but has kept no copies. I
suppose you have them as published
by the Agricultural Bureau.

Dr. Mills has sent you what he has
Dr. Slye has kept none.
