Dear Sir,

The reduction of the water
levels - indeed all our meteorological data -
for the year ending June 1862 have not been
published. The same also for the year ending
June 1864. They were rendered to the Depart-
ment in due time. Col. Reynolds says he
has no authority for issuing the unpublished
data except by permission from the department
at Washington. It would probably be well to
apply to the department directly for the data you
