I worked on the canal this forenoon; at noon Mr. Goodwin came in and had some material alterations to make in the plan of the exchange which rendered it necessary that it should be drawn again and as they are to be handed in this evening no itme was to be lost. Accordingly I drew the plan in the afternoon and carried it to Louisville at evening.
