...than usual and he took them up. After this I wrote a letter to Judge Bates in answer to the one I received a few days ago. I then took a walk along the canal. The work is now very much interupted by high water in the river which is now as high as it has been this spring and rising rapidly.
April 11th
This forenoon I helped do osme work at the Bridge - in the afternoon I drew a plan of a house for the Louisville Exchange.
