Fryday March 27th
I worked all this forenoon on the canal measuring the rock now remaining in it at the lower end which is to be excavated by P.J. Baldwin in the afternoon - Mr. Henry went to Louisville to carry the estimates and I spent the time in my room making the calculations of the rock measured in the forenoon.
