ADOPTED BY CASHIE CHURCH, JUNE 14th, 1884, IN CONFERENCE ASSEMBLED.

RESOLVED, That from this day and date all of our members, both male and female, are required to report either in person or letter every six months or their names will be droped from our roll and they no longer considered members with us.

State of North Carolina Bertie County

Be it known that we Jno W Cooper and Champ Pugh have made the following contract viz the said John W Cooper agree and contracts with the said Champ Pugh to farm on the following [turmes?]

The said John W Cooper agrees and binds himself to furnish farming untencils and land and is to receive one third of what is made on the farm

And the said Champ Pugh is to furnish the horse and feed and is to put the fences and [dithes?] on which he respectively farms in good order to feed and clothe himself and to cultivate the crop faithfully and should he fail to do so by neglect or indolence he is to [forfeit?] his interest in the crop.

And both parties hereby bind themselves to perform the contract in good faith in the presence of all which he subscribes his name and affix his seal
