The Receiver, Custom House, Hull

Is informed that at 2 PM on the 13th Inst. Rea. Admiral FitzRoy sent a Telegram to the Clerk in charge of the Telegraph Station at Hull directing him "to hoist the Signal Cone point downwards".

The Receiver is requested to Forward on form Wr25 a report of the state of the weather at and subsequently to the time of the receipt of the Telegram.
