I beg to acquaint you that, on the 18th Sept 1856, - I paid to the Receiver - General of Droits of admiralty the sum of £12-12-1 1/2 in respect of Drots enumerated on the other side, belonging to Richard Bethell Esqr for the manor of Hornsea, - you will therefore have the goodness to apply for that account to the Secretary admiralty - London. Walter Strickland Esqr (Claims upon wreck) 23 Oct 1860 Sir,

I beg to acquaint you that, - on the 18' Sept 1856, - I paid to the Receiver - General of Droits of admiralty the sum of £1-18-1, in respect of Droit no 133/1854 belonging to Walter Strickland Esqr for the manor of Flamborough, you will therefore have the goodness to apply to the secretary, - admiralty, London, for the said amount. I am sir, J.S.

Droits of admiralty Sir C. Constable's Claims, no 11985 Regt 6/11/60 Recr Custom Ho Hull

Has the Receiver evidence to show that £69-9-11 is due to the Lord of the Manor in respect of wreck re-ceived previous to the registration of the Receiver Geul If so will he send particulars & state whether the proceeds have been paid to the Receiver-Geul & when J.H. Farrer 8/11/60

12th novb 1860

Board of Trade papers, no 5189, are annexed, wherein the particulars of this claim are given, and showing that the sum in question was re-mitted to the Receiver-General on the 18' Septb 1856 D.C.

Richd Bethell Esqr (manorial claims on wreck) no 12181 Regt 12/11/30 Recr C. Ho Hull

If the Receiver can ascertain from his Books the particulars of the wreck referred to, & of the sums received as proceeds and paid as Expenses he is requested now to send an account of the sums due. It did not appear from previous cor-respondence that the proceeds had been paid to the Recr General so lately as 1856. J.H. Frrer 12/11/60

an account of the sums due is annexed It appears from the Records in this office that the amount in question was paid to the Receiver-General on the 18th Sept 1856. Respect fully D.C.
