have received from the Commrs of Her Majesty's
Customs appointing one Receiver of Wreck for the
district therein named, of which I beg to apprize
you. And with reference to the 445 sec of
M. S. Act 1854, & the Instructions conveyed with
G.O. 106/1855, I will thank you to notify the same
to the respective Lieutenants of Nations within your
district with directions to communicate with
me in all matters relating thereto ---

Just on the subject of the breaking up of the
French "Lugger" Freres Unis, I beg to acquaint
you I have seen the French Consul on the
subject--who will call upon you early on
Monday & confer with you respecting her disposal
Any arrangement that you may come to on
the subject, after conferring together, will be satisfactory to
