1964. Thu. interview. U.A.W.C. lunch, talked to Rosemary C. many there, to library. lovely weather.

1965. Fri. By Gatwick & plane to Venice. Clear view of Alps. along Grand Canal, Miss Hooper & I thru St. Marks, had lemonade in piazza, & to Ankara buffet supper & watched Venice recede.

1966. Sat. Shopped. Warm & bright. Walked in park, tulips opening. D. came, after supper to Israeli movie - Sallah - very good.

1967. Sun. Cool. to church. For walk in park & saw Sisams. Wrote letters & read. Finished Save the Children sweaters.

1968. Tues. Tour of Doge's Palace & San Marco - paintings Veronese, Tintoretto etc. Sat in Piazza. Packed. At 6 to Hotel Bauer Grunwald, taken with Swan party to Ankara
