February 4

1964. Tues. People & mail. Lovely mild day. Donald left. Lunch with A. Brady at Faculty Club. Dinner at Falconer.

1965. Thur. very cold. To Dymond's funeral with Beulah. To supper & business meeting at Heliconian. 7 deg. With Isabel Wilson & Kay Coburn.

1966. Fri. Dountoun & bo't dress. Snowing & mild. A. Miller from Clarke Irwin came to see me about revising "Living in Can."

1967. Sat. D. & Ruth to Communist book store. All of us to Waterloo, lunch at Service Centre. Cowans showed slides of Australia.

1968. Sun. Sleet & rain. Cold. Hugh called for me & to the new house for dinner. Hugh drove me home.

February 5

1964. Wed. Meeting with Principal. Alumnae meeting. Woodhouse spoke & Harris led tour of new Library bldg. Beautiful.

1965. Fri. snowing hard. Took Mrs. S. mss to Macm. got wool & skillet. typed.

1966. Sat. Donald skiing at Collingwood. To store & finished Anne's mohair sweater. Heard "Andrea Chenier".

1967. Sun. Boys to S.S. & Anne, Ian, Ruth & I to church. very cold. I came home on train, Ruth & D. to Geneseo.

1968. Mon. To bank & library. To dinner at Club with Vida, Francess & Bertha. Francess drove me home.

February 6

1964. Thu. Lunch with Dell Kemp at U.W.C. To Dr. Finlayson for checkup. Sudden 7 inch snow. Trees beautiful.

1965. Sat. To lunch at club. Dr. Agneuis pictures of Jugoslavia. To R.C.I. - Father O'Connor on learning. Poured tea at the Fisher's reception.

1966. Sun. To church. D & I with Hugh et al to Waterloo. Talked. had dinner, fed & bathed Mary. Lovely time. Good weather.

1967. Mon. dountoun to Margessons etc. 8 deg. below zero. Wrote letters, reading for relig. Com.

1968. Tues. Got my watch from repair. Dell called up. Cold but dry. To laundry to get sheets. Knitted squares, came from V.O.W. Started piecing them together.

February 7

1964. Fri. Wet & melting. Had my hair done. Taking notes on Mrs. Simcoe. Dinner in Cody.

1965. Sun. Rain. To church. Drive with Hugh & Lorraine & there for dinner & evening. Raining.

1966. Mon. Had my hair done. Mild. Shopped & to library. Donald left at noon.

1967. Tues. 1 deg. below zero. had my hair done. To library & bank. Reading brief of Can. Jewish Congress.

1968. Wed. bright & cold. Vacuumed & cleaned. Put a knitted blanket together. To Dr. Welsh to have stitches removed. Cancer diagnosed

February 8

1964. Sat. long talk with R. Reed. Typed on Mrs. S. to library - crowded. Heard part of Menotti's "Last Savage"

1965. Mon. To Locke library & Bank of N.S. Wrote letters. Called up Lorraine. Card from Anne.

1966. Tues. Worked on introduction to C.F.U.W. book. To lunch at Mrs. Brett's, Ruth Tait & Gwyneth there. Mild.

1967. Wed. Worked on brief. To Lorraine's, stayed with Jennifer, got dinner, talked. Came home in taxi.

1968. Thu. To dentist & had my teeth cleaned. Shopped & to library. Letter from Anne. Cold. Put a knitted blanket together.
