1964. Sat. Typed D's chapter on Arctic. Wrote letters. Heard "Magic Flute" on C.B.C. To Arts Ball in H.H. Talked with Principal.

1965. Mon. Looked after Bay. Mild but icy. Came back here at 4. Phoned Lorraine. Donald came at night.

1966. Tues. Very cold. Shopped. To dinner at Club - Prin. Ivey spoke on teaching science.

1967. Wed. Coughing badly. Phoned doctor & got penicilin. Very mild. Letters from Anne & Mary.

1968. Thu. had my hair done. Sewed on blue dress. To Dr. Finlayson for check up. wt. 122 lb.

January 26

1964. Sun. Very windy & cold. To church. Dinner in Ferg. Read & heard C.B.C.

1965. Tues. D & I dountoun & got him dressing gown. Lunch here. He to McGraw Hill. Helen came in. D. & I to Hugh's for dinner & D. left. sleet & rain

1966. Wed. Vacuumed & washed bathroom floor. To bank - 1 degree below 0. Letter from Mary.

1967. Thu. Snowing hard. Read, took notes & took penicilin. Worked on hist. of religious education.

1968. Fri. Relig. Educ. Com. all day at Ont. Art Centre, very tired. Cold. Vaccination painful.

January 27

1964. Mon. To Dr. Crockford. Cold & bright. To see Mr. Gray at McM about Mrs. Simcoe's Diary. Dinner at Mulock.

1965. Wed. Colder & bright. Typed & worked on S. mss. Wrote letters. Saw "Magnificent Yankee" Justice Holmes - on TV.

1966. Thu. Snowing hard. went to store. Vacuumed, cleaned & typed. To library.

1967. Fri. Snow & freezing rain. Very arduous day of briefs - 4 in all. Very tired. Very slow & crowded buses. Phoned Anne.

1968. Sat. Relig. Educ. Com. till 2 worked on "opening exercises" section. Snowing. Lorraine called up. With Zerada S. to hear Millman on meteors & to Helen's reception.

January 28

1964. Tues. Lorraine, Hugh & I to see "Tom Jones." Superb. To supper at their house.

1965. Thu. Had my hair done. To Locke library & P.O. Worked on S. Wrote letters.

1966. Fri. To Com. on Religion in Schools. Lunch at Heliconian Club. Letter from Anne.

1967. Sat. Cold & some snow. Lorraine & I talked nearly all morning. Read & heard "Don Giovanni".

1968. Sun. Sleety rain. My arm very sore. Lorraine called up. Read & listened to radio. Horrible weather.

January 29

1964. Wed. To Dr. MacD & had eyes tested. Marg Hooey came to see me. Dinner at Mulock. Leo died. Hugh called up.

1965. Fri. To Literature section lunch at Heliconian. On Biography - sat around fire - very good. Helen came.

1966. Sat. Shopped. Lunch at club given by Mrs. Ryrie Smith for old Y W hands. Saw lots of people.

1967. Sun. heard Dr. Howse on radio. To Waterloo, all met me. Very cold & deep snow. Anne pleased with green dress & knit cap.

1968. Mon. thick fog & mild. Lorraine called up. Typed, knitted & read. To bank, P.O. & library. Sent back Macd. mss to Mcm.
