January 15

1964. Wed. Met with Principal. Mild & bright. Residence Council met. Sue Hamilton spoke on India with splendid slides.

1965. Fri. 2 degrees. Waited for bus at Flem. Park till nearly frozen. Lorraine made mince pie, Hugh drove us to Don Mills shopping centre.

1966. Sat. To Ref library & worked on Hoodless. Cold. To Locke Lib. Wrote letters.

1967. Sun. Anne better. Ian took boys tobogganing. Keith & Sheila came for lunch. Played with Mary & helped Anne. Made her 2 skirts.

1968. Mon. Heavy snow & furious wind. Windows bursting open with heavy wind. Lorraine phoned & D. from Kingston. Read & worked on papers

January 16

1964. Thu. dountoun briefly. Prof Dryer came to ask questions. Dry & mild. Dinner at Ferg.

1965. Sat. Shopped. Very cold. Vacuum apt. very thoroly. To R.C.I. to hear Dr. Porter on Automation - very good - & to reception, Dr. [unclear]

1966. Sun. To church & passed coffee at coffee hour. Reading "For Pity's Sake" & Laurier.

1967. Mon. Anne lecturing at Guelph. Washed clothes & finished Anne's skirts. Train at 2:30. Jeanneret died yesterday, Hugh phoned.

1968. Tues. Cold but clear. To library & P.O. sent last mss. of revision. Worked on notes & read "Holy Roman Empire".

January 17

1964. Fri. Principal & Mr. Hickey here with macabre plan for Union. Very mild. To Waterloo. All met me.

1965. Sun. To church. Very cold. Read & heard radio. Snowing. Helen came.

1966. Mon. Worked in Ref. Library. Mild. To dinner at Club & Directors' meeting. Very late.

1967. Tues. shopped, wrote letters. To funeral place, saw Mrs. Jeanneret & Marsh. Hugh called up & Dell Kemp.

1968. Wed. Milder. To store. Cut out dress. Worked on notes & read. Donald called up, roads so bad he can't come.

January 18

1964. Sat. Featherstitched Korean nightgowns, read to boys. peaceful day.

1965. Mon. To Ref. Lib. & worked on Mrs. S. Saw Mary Umson. Dinner at Club & Directors meeting. Took minutes.

1966. Tues. Wrote letters. With Don Gillies to United Ch. - Anglican meeting about Union. Discussion, speeches & dinner. interesting.

1967. Wed. Vacuumed & cleaned. Wrote Observer column. To Jeanneret funeral - saw many friends, Mrs. Humphreys drove me home.

1968. Thu. Mild. Called up Donald. Dountoun & got dress material & left watch.

January 19

1964. Sun. Lorraine & Hugh came for dinner. Made lasagna. Anne showed Mexican slides. Drove back with them.

1965. Tues. Cold. Dountoun & shopped & did errands. Worked on Mrs. S. Wrote letters.

1966. Wed. Worked on Mrs. Hoodless all day. Shopped for food. Hugh called up - has new job.

1967. Thu. Dountoun to get pictures of H.A.I. Knitting white cap for Anne. Have cold. Lorraine & Beulah called up.

1968. Fri. To City Hall & was vaccinated. Mild but terrible walking. Lorraine called up. To library. Put cotton dress together.
