My dear Aut. Your last letter received some days ago with the snaps enclosed and they were simply splendid. Young Reg is certainly a cracker Jack and no wonder everybody talks so

much about him. The other pictures of you girls were fine but somehow or other I did not like the one of you alone so tore it up. I have been rather on the rocks the last few days and am resting peaceably in bed with a slight attack of pleurisy. Today

I feel fine so I should be back with the battery within the next week. Just before [coming - crossed out] taking sick I ran into Jim Clark from home and we had a good long talk about the old town etc. Just imagine I have three stars up now and it dates back to the 6th of last March/18 so I feel quite important! I don't think! I guess Harry shall be over in England shortly. If I had not been ill I should have gone on leave yesterday. Best regards to all in Toronto Best love Brother Reg.
