[R] down here, so the teams are not exactly professional. I am really a good goal-keeper though yes[?] I have just finished the first instalment of a very good story in [Vashs] magazine. The name is Saints Prayers by John Galsworthy. I read another story by him so will try and get the magazine every week. I see a piece by Arnold Bennett on it so will have to see what he has to say. I recieved a letter from you the last mail and was very glad to get it. I will be on the look out for the day I get back.

[R] Girls savey and recited. There is no work around this camp at all. That is the only work we have to do is to the pans that we get our meals. We have a parade at ten in the morning which lasts about ten or fifteen minutes. The forth division put a foot ball team in a league that is running here.
