I received a fine parcel from
I Isabel Patterson. Very
decent of her to think of
the troops eh? She said it
was from the whole family. I
guess she didn't want
me to think that she had
any particular liking
for anybody especially.

I see that they have
received the photos. They
would have been a
good deal better but it
was raining and foggy
and I was in a great
hurry and rather worried
