My dear Aut -

Here I have intended writing you for a long while and have not done it. It certainly is not that I don't think of you all enough but this place is so dead that one hasn't enough pep to do anything. Often wonder how you are all getting on.

I bought a rain coat which cost me $15. It is a very good thing for around here. Of course I cannot wear it on parade but can off parade. So you got Reg the boots in Canada. You know he told me that he wanted some special boots from over there. I have not heard from him for a long while. Perhaps he is pretty busy. You could not get a pair of high boots for 17.50 here. I received a letter from Fran last mail, tell her I will be writing her soon and will write Stan Sunday. I hope that maple sugar comes alright because I am almost [unclear].

Remember the thin little legs I used to have. Well they are bigger than Bob's now I bet you. As strong as a lion. Must get that picture taken one of these days.

Best love to Bob and all in Toronto and look after yourself and go up to see mother.

Your loving Bro Ted.

P.S. Best love to Harry in "A." [Corp?] 23rd Res
