Dear Stan:-

I thought that I woud write you a few lines before I go to bed and let you know that I am feeling pretty good again. I have just written mother and Sus and told them all the news. I received a big bundle of letters yesterday and none from Toronto except Mr Cusin's. I will be hearing from you people I suppose right away. Tell Mr Cusin that I appreciated his letter and clipping very much and will write him to-morrow or next day.

I had a letter from Reg and he seems to be getting along alright. He has been taking courses in machine gun and trench mortar.

This is the oldest place around this district and you should see the old houses (1847.) I will try and get some post-cards of them if I can. I am going over to Manchester If I can before I go down South.

How are all the people at your house. Give Louise and her mother my best love and tell
