often and is irregular. You and the rest want
to write me often. It does not matter how much or
anything else but it cheers a fellow up a good deal.

You must have had a fine time at Easter with all
the doings in Toronto. The rest seems to do mother so
much good and she ought to down often, even if it
not for very long.

We have been unsettled for the last couple
of days and we leave early in the morning for
some little place called [Auxley/Ruxley?] or something. It is
about eight miles from here. We will be under
canvas there, but do not expect to stay there long
but to go [t -crossed out] to Shorncliffe. We had to hand in
all the blankets to-night so I gess we will have
to sleep without any to-night.

I suppose that you will be pretty busy now
as there is so much work to do. Do not
work to hard because you will be laid up
with something or other.
