No 94 Ring worm.
Fine starch, reduced to powder, & kept constantly applied in & around the part affected with ring worm will soon cure that tearing and infections cuticular distemper. On the head the ring worm sometimes comes to running sores which must once or twice be washed with soap & water & dress with basilicon ointment, keeping the rest of the head dry, & constantly covered with powdered starch. The body must be kept gently open with sulphur & cream of tartar.

No 95 Cough.
Oxyniel of Quills 2 ozs. Syrup of poppies 1 oz Dose - 2 teaspoonsful thrice a day.

No 96 Burns.
Pulverized chalk & white egg mixed to the consistency of cream put on the part affected, instantly relieves from pauin care should be taken to prevent its congealing by frequent application

No 97 Permanent Marking Ink. Mrs Pope
20 grains lumar Caustic 1 large Vinegar half a teaspoonful thick gum water . The Preparatory Liquid - 1 drchm salt of wormwood dissolved in Gum water.

No 98 Tooth Powder. Raspines' (Mrs Pope)
2 ozs Magnesia (calcined) 2 ozs iris roots in powder - 2 ozs Balammoniac 6s worth Dragons 1/2 oz blood 3s worth Tincture 3 oz of Myrrh poured on all the powders & well mixed with a pestle & mortar.
