To the President of the Senate:
I am directed to inform your honorable body that the
House has this day passed House Joint Memorial No. 6, by
Mrs. Hayward, entitled, "A Memorial to the Congress of the
United States Petitioning the Government to Pass the Suffrage
Federal Suffrage Amendment", as amended, by striking
from the title, after the word "the" the word "suffrage",
and the same is herewith transmitted for the consideration
of your honorable body.
