PARK CITY, UTAH Nov. 19, 1915.

Governor William Spry,
Salt Lake City, Utah.

Your Excellency:-- Permit me, with the thousands
of other loyal citizens of Utah, to extend sincere congratulations
for your great wisdom and courage in the handling
and disposition of the now famous Hillstrom case.
Always proud of you as Governor of our great state,
your recent vigorous objection to the smirshing of
Utah's fair name by insinuating and unjustifiable interference
in purely state affairs by the Chief Executive
of the nation, has increased individual and public admiration
for you a hundred fold. I reiterate, we, in this
neck of the weeds, are proud of you.

We further commend your decision to suppress the
lawlessness now tolerated in Salt Lake, and to
drive out the "wavers of red flags," and to put a stop
to "soap-box oratory" in which city, state and nation are
defamed by lawless, un-American agitators and worthless
characters. Your decision is approved by every loyal
Utahn and all wish you god-speed in your good work.

Very respectfully,
S.L. Raddon
