Tuesday December 9, 1879,
Council met in the tithing office. Mayor Larsen
presiding. Prayer by Jos. H Allred.
Councilor Lauritz Larsen and T.B. Allred appointed
to get a bridge built over the big ditch east of
the city reported that the bridge was built. A
bill was read from R. W. Allred St. Supervisors
asking an appropriation of Thirty Two and
sixty five hundreds Dollars ($32.65) for the
material, building the bridge, abulments, etc.,
An appropriation for for the amount was granted
by the council in wheat at on dollar per lb.
R. W. Allred also presented bills ammounting to
Twelve Dollars and seventy two hundreds Dollars ($12.72)
for building one foot bridge and fixing others. The
committee appointed to get the work done accepted
the same. And an appropriation of $12.72 was
made to R.W. Allred St. Supervisor, in wheat at
one dollar per lb.
S.G. Bunnel who was owing the city ten
lb. wheat and eight Dollars and twenty four cents
appeared and asked time to settle the amount
Six Dollars having been paid. The request was
granted by the council.
Council adjourned for one week.
