To the Governor of Utah, Salt Lake City, Utah.

Dear Sir.

At a regular meeting of the woman's International Union
Lable League, No 288, of Danville Ill the following resolution was adopted.

whereas organized labor has made many hard struggles through
life to better there condition, and have meet the attects of gun
men, and the active workers are genarly known as being progressive to
the true cause of Unionism, and in spite of the fact men that stand
for the princible of organized labor are condemed and jailed, because
they dare and do stand for the interest of the working class, And.

whereas, the agitators of organized labor are being
centered upon by the money interest, slamed in jail and tryed by a
prejudice jury, such as happened to John R. Lason Executive Board
member of the United Workers, for killing a man that he had never seen.

And, whereas, Joseph Hillstrom a miner of Utah has been
sentenced to be court marsheled to death, for killing Mr Morrison, a
man who Brother Hillstrom dont know any thing about, and Brother
Hillstrom is denied a new trial and justice because of being and agitator
for the interest of the working class.

There for be it resolved the woman's Intrenational
Union Lable League No 288, that we appeal to the Gouverner of Utah,
That Joseph Hillstorm be given a new trial, and that he will not be court
marsheled with out having a fair chance for his life, and that the
Gouverner use all honarable means to get justice for our Brother
who is striving for the cause of organized labor.
