My dear Mr. Raddon:-
A delay in the acknowledgement of the receipt of your letter of November 19th, has been occasioned by reason of the press of other matters which has prevailed. I wish you to know that I appreciate to the fullest your cordial and loyal expressions.
It is a source of great satifaction to me to find that my stand in connection with this case meet with the approval of the people of this state who are known to stand for the enforcement of law and order.
I have taken the liberty of showing your letter to the members of the Pardon Board who join in this expression of thanks.
