I appreciate very much your expression
of approval of my action in the Hillstrom case
as contained in your communication of Nov. 22nd.
There had been waged, through the mail, such a
campaign of abuse and intimidation that it is
a source of great satisfaction to find that there
are people like yourself who approve of our ef-
forts to maintain law and order and uphold the
institutions of government.
