Mineapolis, Minn.
Sept 25th.1915.

Honorable William Spry.
Governor State of Utah.
Salt Lake City, Utah.

Dear Sir......

You will herewith find my daily prostest to the false
and unjust execution of my comrade and countryman Joseph Hillstrom
on Oct. 1st. You are the only man who can save Joe Hill; are you
going to let him be SHOT to death without giving an innocent man
a FAIR and IMPARTIAL TRIAL? Would you be so hard hearted as to
send him to his death when you know that he is innocent? Think man
before you do this rash thing. Remember that if you let him go to
his death you can consider your self a Murderer and will have to
come before the tribunal on judgement day. Are you going to let Utah
stand this humiliation of shame which has already been brought on
the State of Georgia in the Leo Frank case? Think! Act quick!
Hoping that you take immediate action towards the FREEDOM of
Joseph Hillstrom I am Yours to Progress.

C.W. Anderson...

By a man who believes in freedom for the whole Human Race.
