Dear Sir:-

The exicution of labor leaders is fast driving this
country to socialism, and I know of no courts precedings that
has caused so many to turn to that party like the sentence of
life imprisment of John R. Lawson, of Colo. and my dear sir the
exicution of Joe Hill, Oct. 1st will have a marked impression also,
so if you fail to at least to comute it to life so that later on
we may see wheather he has been railroaded or not you will add
many recruits to that party.

Trusting that you will act as God, who knows all thing
would have you act, I am yours for justice.
