To the Governor.
Dear Sir.

At a meeting, held on the above date
at 949 Willoughby Ave, a committee was appointed to express
their sentiments in regard to Joseph Hillstrom,
Whereas: Joseph Hillstrom, convicted by the courts of Utah
and condemmed to die, and
Whereas: every man, according to the Constitution of the
United States, is entitled to a fair trial for his life and liberty,
and, Whereas: this right was refused in the case of Joseph Hillstrom,
Resolved: that we, the members of Metal Polishers, Local
Union No 12, request that you use your power to
stay this execution until such time as will be
necessary to prove his guilt or innocense in a legal manner.
