January 7, 1916.
Mr. J. N. Kleber,
P. O. Box 896,
Three Forks. Mont.
Dear Sir:-
I trust that you will pardon my delay in acknowledging the receipt of your cordial letter of
November 20th, expressing your approval of my action
in the Hillstrom case. It is a source of profound
satisfaction to know that the decent and self-respecting
people of the United States are supporting
the officials of Utah in their efforts to maintain
law and order and I feel that the vigorous, outspoken
expressions in contempt of those who seek to
overthrow our institutions of government are potent
in creating a sentiment against these growing anarchistic
organizations.
Again thanking you and with the compliments
of the season, I am
Sincerely yours,
Governor.
