Dear Sir:-
I have been busy for the past two months acknowledg-
ing letters in connection with the Hillstrom case, concern-
ing which you wired me from Green River, wyoming, on Nov-
ember 19th.
This letter is an expression of my thanks for your
kind telegram. In handling this matter, I did only what
I regarded as my plain and simple duty and it is a source
of much satisfaction to know that you approve of my action
on the Hillstrom case.
