Honerable Sir.
The undersigned citizens of Hartford Conn. Petition
you to save the life of Joe Hill who has been sentenced to be shot for
a crime for which there is doubt that he ever committed and we understand
that he was denied the right to choose his own council and that the jury
that judged him guilty of murder was prejudiced against this man, so
we appeal to you in a sence of justice to do all in your power to see
that his life is saved and that he may be granted a fair and impartial
