PETITION

TO HIS HONOR GOV. SPRY, OF UTAH.

We the undersigned citizens of the United States have affixed our signatures to the herewith petition, urging his Honor Gov. Spry to give the Joe Hill case his closest attention, seeing that he will get full justice regardless of principle which he may uphold. We know full well that "Capital" is at emnity with labor, therefor they will go to extremes to gain their ends; as they have the power, (money) and labor has nothing but their labor to be sold as a common commodity. After reviewing both sides of the case thoroughly, we have come to the justifiable conclusion that the defendant has been unjustly accused and convicted, sentenced to be executed by no other than a minority of beings who are and were inadequate to judge the children of a just "GOD". Knowing that you have the power and principle, to exonerate JOE HILL; and trusting that you will not have the blood of an innocent victim of the system on your head, we the undersigned file this petition for the furthering of justice,
