To the Honorable Governor of Utah
Dear Sir. Owing to the
curcomstances Surronding the Case of Joseph Hillstrom better known
as Joe Hill, and the fact that the only Evidence the prosecution
had, to wit that Joe Hill, on the night the Merchant was killed
applied to a physican, for aid with a bullet wound, Not another shadow
of Evidence, has been introduced other than that he was an I W W, and
active in the Industrial Movement. We the undersigned send this
as a resolution of Protest as Voicsing the sentiment of a large
number of working Men and women of San Jose that he is
Innocent of the crime charged.
