July 15th, 1918.

Women's Overseas Hospital Dept.,
National American Woman Suffrage Ass'n.,
New York City.

Your circular of July 8th, in the form
of a call to the women for help for the Overseas Hospitals,
was received.

I immediate caused a number of copies
of the call to be made and sent to all our leading papers,
and to each of our county chairman. The two largest daily
paper, for July 13th, the Sioux Falls Press and the Argus-
Leader, each contained the notice, which I enclose.

I also enclose two applications which
came in the same mail with these two papers. I am writing
these applicants that their applications are being sent
in. I will do this with what-ever applications come to us
and trust you will give them immediate attention.

Sincerely yours,
