Mrs. Paul Rewmab,
Deadwood, So. Dak.

My dear Mrs. Rewman:--

A letter from Mrs. McMahon and also
one from Mrs. Ghrist, tells me of their great pleasure in
the result of the Deadwood School. Both seemed to think
that great good will come of it.

Mrs. McMahon writes that you did not
receive your posters in time for the School. I regret
this very much and can not understand why, as Mrs. Meyer
mailed out the material to all of the schools and you
should have had yours, as they left here in plenty of time.

I had a conversation with Mrs. McMahon
this morning, after they reached Wolsey and where they
changed cars for Mitchell. They seemed very much pleased
with their west-of-the-river trip and think it was well
worth while. I would like to hear from you and get your
view-point, as soon as you are well rested.

Miss Daley came on from St. Paul,
arriving Saturday monring, in answer to a letter from me,
but after her arrival here, she received a telegram from
Dr. Heston, President of the State Normal, giving her very
definite plans for a number of Institutes. This, some-
what disconcerted our arrangements, but she left here this
morning with the plan that she is to work for the suff-
rage cause also, during this month that she has to represent
the State Normal in the Institutes. She will do finance
work for us, during this time, on the commission plan and
then immediately following the Institutes, will take up a
regular campaign for us.

Now, Mrs. Rewman, I am getting very
much worried over the prospect of the time coming when the
$1,000 will be entirely consumed and there will not be
enough coming in to meet the in-coming bills. How soon
can you go to work again? There are points that ought
to be worked as soon as possible, Pierre being one of them
Please write me of your plans and ideas.
