Mrs. J. A. Williams, Treas.
Watertown, S.D.

Dear Madam:

I will make a second attempt to turn over the funds of the Wo-
man's Committe to you. Please notify me at once, whether you accept or re-
ject, so that I will know what to do.

Inclosed you will find a signature card, that you may sign and
return to the bank accopanied by your check, and the chech will be honored
and the money given to you, in any way that you indicate. This is the cor-
rect manner according to banking service, and in order to make sure I
have again verified my action, by taking the matter up with the Securi-
ty National Bank, and to re-assure you they have written on the card,
although that was not necessary. Now just because the funds are not turn-ed
over to you in exactly the manner that you had made up your mind that they
should be turned over, is no legitimate reason for you being critical, just
so it is done correctly and according to the methods prescribed in "up-to-
date" banking service.

As I have told you before, we must have a checking fund to pay
petit expenses. If you do not wish me to keep a checking account on the
money deposited, please send me back in anyway that you wish $50.00 for use
in office expense.

The statement which I have mailed you, and which you have in
no way acknowledged, is merely a statement of petit expenses. It is admitted
by the people that petit expenses account is necessary. Since sending you
