Anthony - under ye [the] Piazza, in ye [the] 1st Court, as you
turn to ye [the] right hand, near ye [the] end of it is a Monu-
ment dedicated to ye [the] Memory of Erasmus, with
the following Inscriptions in latin & greek viz -

Erasmo Dilso Belgae Antverpiensis summae
virtutis ac nobilitatis viro. Qui procul
a Patria magno cum dolore omnium ex
deplorata valetudinis infirmitate
extinctus est. Amici maesti B. M.
posuerunt.
