Friday, June 9.
Have had such
an interesting afternoon.
Went out to see the three
[[Russian Warships]], [[Aurora]]
[[Oleg]] and Zemtchug [[Zamtchug]]. They
are a most interesting
sight and make war
seem very real. They are
entirely black with white
funnels and have great
holes in their sides made
by shells, their funnels
badly torn and are
badly riddled by small guns.
Russian officials and sailors
were all about on deck and
each ship had a priest in
long white robe, large hat and
flowing beard. 120 wounded
have been taken to the
hospital and the Capt [[Captain]]was
buried just off [[Corregidor]].
