Friday, April 28
Marjorie and I rode out
the trail to the Igerrote [[Igorot]]
grains. We left our horses
And followed paths through
the [[tid.tid]], which was so
dense that we had to stoop
to get through. The graves
are in caves in the face of
a high cliff of solid rock.
We climbed up a ladder of
twisted branches and looked
into one cave and saw dozens
of skulls and bones of all sizes.
Intensely interesting.
Slept after lunch. Read + wrote.

Saturday April 29.
Rained so we could not ride.
[[Mr. Duc]] for lunch. Went to walk
with [[Mrs. Thomas]] in rain then play
-ed tennis in rain with [[Mr.Duc]].
[[Gen. Allen]] and [[Mr. Forbes]] called
