interference of rivers, and the

render the distribution of the
Rajbuha, a somewhat com-

has given me much thought,
and the conclusions at which
I have arrived, are the results of
mature and deliberate consider-
ation. The general principles
are derived from those which
originated on the eastern Sumna
canal, and which have been
attended with the greatest success
not only in economizing the
supply, and in facilitating the
distribution of water to the
cultivators; but in protecting
the interests of both the Government
and those who are dependant
upon the canals for irrigation

for operations, and a ground work
for bringing to completion, that
