Richmond
Up at 6:45 arrived Richmond at
7:55 porter 1.50 met at station by
Mr Heeld + photographer, photo-
graphed also at magazine counter
where I had to purchase a book .50
red cap .75 then Mrs Heeld brot me
to Mrs Ellison's and she is charm
ing. I unpacked washed up and
had breakfast after which I did
a little sewing, some reading etc
then over to the College Inn for lunch.
Next was the broadcast then a
short rehearsal at the house.
Dinner at 5 for 6 and the concert
was at 9. My sorority sisters brot
fruit + the grad chapter sent flowers
Concert not too well attended.
Short reception at Union University
in the College Inn, the return to the
Presidents home the repacking + leav
ing at 1:05 for New York.
Dr Ellison is fine but very quiet.
Expenditures 2.75 + gift 10.00 perfume
