[Friday October 6, 1961] Franz at 11 for rehearsal. At 1, made withdrawal from Emigrant at 42nd Street. One thousand in cash. Two thousand in a check which I immediately deposited next door in my bank chem. Bnk N.Y. Trust Co. total (3000.00) Went to Dr Carter, for examinations. 1 1/2 hrs, returning at 3:45 to apt.
