The Early Birds 627 Park Avenue New York City

March 14, 1939

Miss Mario[a]n Anderson c/o WEAF 30 Rockefeller Plaza New York, N.Y.

My dear Miss Anderson:

I want you to know how much I enjoyed your part of the Circle Variety program with Basil, Groucho and the rest of the cast. It is wonderful to be blessed by God with the privilege of giving happiness of song and music to all mankind.

Long may you live to sing your way into the hearts of our people, whom I assure you are deeply grateful for your presence in our midst.

I am just a humble citizen, but may I speak for the millions of people who enjoyed listening to your marvelous voice over the ether waves.

Very cordially yours, [signature] Horace B. Wild
